Saint George Beach at Naxos Town (the capital of Naxos) is the most famous resort in Naxos Island. It is located at the so named bay and it is over 1 kilometre long with fine sand and shallow waters which makes it safe for kids. It has an excellent tourist infrastructure and offers a variety of accommodation (hotels, studios, apartments) to choose from and all kind of beach entertainment. Water sports facilities are available, from wind surfing facilities (there is high standards a training centre too) to pendaloes and beach volley. Evenings at Saint George beach are colourful, beautiful and romantic providing unique moments for memorable holidays.
